About this coffee
This very exciting Brazil Rei das Montanhas, meaning King of the Mountains, is a mix of 3 wonderful specialty grade Brazilian coffees. The interesting part is they there are 2 different processing methods from 2 different farms, roasted to a Mahogany Roast level - which is a fuller roast than medium. It is combining our Brazil Ipanema Premier Cru Gold Edition Red Acaia Natural Process, Brazil Samambaia Mundo Novo Pulped Natural & the Brazil Samambaia Yellow Bourbon Natural Process. The wine notes of the Ipanema Premier Cru combine with the sweet fruits of the Yellow Bourbon, then combined with the creamy chocolate of the Mundo Novo, all comes together to bring a deep, rich, toffee & honeycomb with a wine finish.
When experimenting with this blend we decided on the Mahogany Roast version, as it is a new tasting experience & something different in a darker range that we as yet don't offer. Hope you agree it's great! Anyone looking for a medium roast version would be best to get the Brazil Ipanema Premier Cru on it's own, or the Brazil Fazenda Passeio Bourbon Natural - both are medium roast, fruity & delicious.
