Most pods sold by UK specialty roasters are Nespresso Original-line compatible — the small home capsule format — with aluminium now the dominant shell because it keeps coffee fresher than plastic and recycles through Podback. Check your machine line before buying: Original and Vertuo capsules are not interchangeable. Then compare on price per pod, not pack price — packs run from 10 to 100 capsules, so the sticker number alone tells you nothing.
