How we make money

CoffeeComparer is free to use. When you click a “Buy” or “Visit roaster” link and go on to make a purchase, some roasters pay us a small commission through their affiliate programmes (we use the Awin network). It costs you nothing extra.

It never affects our rankings. Prices, roast levels, origins and the order in which coffees appear are driven entirely by the data we collect — not by whether a roaster pays us, or how much. Roasters with no affiliate programme are listed exactly the same way as those with one.

We log outbound clicks so we can understand which roasters our readers are interested in and report honest traffic numbers. We don’t sell that data.

Affiliate commission is what keeps the site independent and unsponsored. If you ever feel a recommendation looks skewed by money, tell us — that would be a bug, not the business model.
