Shochoch Trading work closely with local and national farmers cooperative unions as well as commercial farmers to source their products and create premium market opportunities for the grower. As well as coffee, they work with spice, honey and fruit farms and ensure the farmers can thrive, helping them to become financially stable and create sustainable crops that ensure steady supply year on year.

The communities in the Bench Sheko Zone face many challenges and poverty. Shochoch Trading invest 10 – 15% of their income directly back into the community. They also pay a higher price for the products they source, and educate the community on how to increase other sources of income such as opening small shops.

They also own their own plantations, making it easier to ensure the land and forests are managed sustainably and enhance the livelihood of the farmers and their families through employment and income opportunities, while exceeding the client’s needs.
