About this coffee
Finca Buenavista, Pink Bourbon is grown by Jeisson Fabian Ortiz Avendano at Finca Buenavista in the mountains of La Plata, Huila. Jeisson began cultivating coffee only four years ago. His six-hectare farm sits at 1,860 metres above sea level, where Pink Bourbon grows alongside Castillo and Catimor varieties. The remaining land is planted with avocados. During harvest, Jeisson works with a small permanent team and seasonal pickers from across Colombia. After harvesting, the cherries are de-pulped, dry fermented in stainless steel tanks, rinsed, and carefully dried using both solar and mechanical dryers. Expect notes of strawberry, raspberry, citrus and delicate floral hints.
