Nestled at the base of the Poas Volcano, Hacienda Sonora relies on 100% renewable energy from a hydroelectric generator, converting flowing rivers into power for the wet and dry mills. This sustainable energy source benefits all residents and workers on the farm.
The featured lot consists of Villa Sarchi, a variety originating from Costa Rica's Sarchi village, known for its natural mutation of the Bourbon coffee variety. Ideal for high altitudes with shade trees and regular fertilization, it's cultivated across 45 hectares of shaded coffee lands.
