Colombia - Tolima

About this coffee

This single origin from the Tolima region of Colombia is a mix of several hard, dense bean types of a larger screen size (bigger beans) and high growing elevations. This means the roast profile we designed needed to be a balance of high power and careful energy management with a close eye on developing the sugars and acids properly to get the most from the beans.

The result...a beautiful, medium acidity cup across any brew method. On pour over expect a lighter body with sweet guava notes up front moving through a creamy macadamia nut middle to a light blood orange finish. This coffee is also an excellent espresso base, consistently delivering a sweet nut complexity and a zesty orange on the back end with a wide tolerance for a range of extraction ratios.
