It's officially summer! And we're bringing the sunshine this June with our latest coffee, the vibrant El Progreso form Alejandro Medina in Colombia.
Coffee runs deep in the Medina family. In the village of El Pantano, Timaná, Alejandro is carrying forward a legacy that stretches back three generations. After the passing of his father four years ago, Alejandro stepped in to manage Finca El Progreso, continuing the work started by his grandparents and nurtured by his parents.
Finca El Progreso spans eight hectares and is planted primarily with Colombia and Castillo varieties. Through careful soil management, targeted fertilisation, preventative crop care and selective cherry picking, Alejandro focuses on producing high-quality coffee while maintaining the health and productivity of the farm.
