This wonderful coffee lot comes from Huehuetenango in Guatemala—high altitude, limestone soils, and ideal conditions for producing really elegant coffees.
La Esperanza (which literally means “The Hope”) farm has been in the Morales family for over 40 years. Built from the ground up through hard work and persistence, it’s now a farm that supports not just one family, but a whole community around it.
At the centre of it all is Francisco Morales, a producer who’s still learning, still experimenting, still pushing for better. That mindset has paid off—his coffees have picked up awards in regional competitions, and it’s easy to see why.
