About this coffee
A punchy coffee without being too aggressive, with plenty of body. Punchy notes of dark chocolate and lemons.
A co-operative comprised of indigenous reserves in the Cauca region, CENCOIC has seen the political landscape of the area change drastically for the better. Grown amongst panela, plantains, pineapples, yucca and lemons, these flavours come through in the sweetness of the cup.
Colombia's land stretches from the Amazon Rainforest to the highlands of the Andes mountains, and was once the world's largest producer of washed coffees, from three main geographical areas trisected by the Andes mountain range. This leads to two key harvest times in the country, with fresh coffee available all year. The varietals and farmers will change throughout the year.
